When I was a kid in Toronto, it was hard not to eat too many buns. It is a standard in the food intake of many people in the Northeast. As soon as I was in ninth grade, I walked into a bagel store and got my first job. I worked at the bagel store for many years and learned a lot about the bagel business. When I finished high school, I resided in several different areas across the United States of America. It was always a point to try bagels from all over the United States.

With all due respect to the big chain stores, I prefer to buy bagels at a mom and dad store. Nothing can beat a freshly made bun that day.

The best way to prepare a bagel is by boiling and then baking it in an oven. This is what I grew up in, I learned in my time working in bagel shops, and this approach is my desired way of eating them. It is generally very easy to spot every time a Toronto bagel is fresh, boiled, and baked. Many people claim that they are better in Toronto because of the water. I think there is a bit of weight to this statement, however I have found that when they are prepared and baked the right way they will taste great. The optimal combination of crisp and chewy.
One thing that I have found over time is the shortage of seeds in the muffins. It is a rare occasion when I have a simple one. When you want to have one, all you need to do is heat it up in the microwave for a few seconds, just to defrost it enough to cut it. Immediately after, put it in the toaster and you will get a good tasting bagel straight from the freezer.
Bagel shops continue to grow across the United States, and are increasing in popularity almost everywhere. They are becoming more popular because they are delicious to begin with. They can also be extremely versatile. They are an excellent option for the morning meal and are perfect for traveling. By using a bagel, you can add tons of flavor to sandwiches, and you can also be imaginative and make great little snacks.
